Korean Chicken

Easy Korean style chicken to quickly make for a quick meal. Spicy, savory and full of gochujang flavor.

Prep time: 1.5 hours Cook time: 20 minutes

Ingredients

  • 3 Boneless Chicken Thighs
  • 1 Tbs Gochujang
  • 1 Tsp Honey
  • 2 Tbs Gochugaru
  • 1 Tsp Hot Chili Powder
  • 2 Minced Garlic Cloves
  • 1 Tsp Onion Powder
  • 1 Tbs Roasted White Seasame Seeds
  • 1/2 Tbs Soy Sauce
  • 1/4 Tsp Toasted Seasame Oil
  • 2 Green Onion

Directions

  1. Separate green onions into greens and whites. Mince the whites and them add them to a bowl and slice greens and set aside for garnish.
  2. Mix gochjang, honey, chili flakes, chili powder, soy sauce, garlic, onion powder, and onion whites into a thick paste. Add water until about the consistency of a thick barbecue sauce.
  3. Place the chicken thighs into the mixture and let marinate for at least 1 hour.
  4. Set oven or air fryer to 350F and place the chicken on a greased baking pan. Bake for 20 minutes and flip halfway through.
  5. (Optional) Set the oven to broil and place chicken directly under heating element to add some char to the top of the chicken.
  6. Garnish with seasame seeds, seasame oil, and onion greens and serve.
